So today was a great day, while I did not get up quite as early as I was hoping we were up with plenty of time to get ready and get to school on time! A great start to what I know will be a great week.
While the boys were at school I worked in our den, and worked on laundry! There was a lot with me being down the end of last week, but it is caught up and after one more load I will even have all blankets that were out washed. Seriously disinfecting the house. I also started to get what Halloween stuff we had gotten out up. We did not get it all out, and I have yet to get it all up, but I am not far from having it all either.
I got the boys from school and am glad to announce that they had GREAT days. John Michael had a green face, and if he keeps it up the rest of the week we are going to take him and Danny to Logan's this weekend. They have been wanting to go for a while and we figured it would be a good treat. Danny got his Social Studies test made up and I think has almost everything caught up. Another definite positive!
When Brandon got off we headed to Subway to grab a quick dinner. Then to his mom's so he could help her with her computer. Then to the grocery store. Tomorrow I am attempting beef strogannof in the crock pot. I have never made it in the crock pot, but with a photo shoot at 3:30 tomorrow I will not have time to do anything else. Hopefully it will turn out good. With the sessions that I have coming up, topped with basketball coming up I will be relying on my crock pot a lot!
Well, homework and work have me slammed tonight, but I have to get in bed before midnight. That is my goal. We will see what happens. An hour left. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

The final Soccer Game
Brandon had to work at Homestead Hollow so this morning the boys and I headed out to visit him and the rest of the family that was there. We got a new decoration for the yard and I am super excited. So ready to put everything out. I love Christmas! The boys also got puppets, which I have to say were the best toys I have ever purchased at Homestead Hollow. So much fun!
After a morning there we all headed to John Michael's final soccer game for the season. After having to miss the last 2 games I was super excited to be able to be there. While I never played soccer, it has been a fun learning experience. I enjoy all sports and this is one I will definitely be looking forward to every Fall, in the Spring we have baseball. John Michael has had a blast, and Danny wants to play next year.
We ended the day out with a photo session at the Rail Road Park. For more on this watch my website at http://www.monicaannephotography.com/ As my business is continuing to grow I am truly enjoying every minute. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. It is amazing what you can learn from someone in such a little amount of time. The boys had a blast playing soccer and watching clouds while I had my session. It was nice having them there, especially since it was dark by the time that we left.
We came home for dinner, studying, homework, showers, and bed! I also had to clean and do some laundry but after the week that we all had I am not sure when I will catch up. Hopefully this week though as it is a requirement with Christmas decorations to get out and Thanksgiving to get ready for! I love the holiday season.
This has been a weekend full of blessings and I know that this week has many in store for us as well. Looking forward to seeing what they are. Watch out Monday, I am ready and looking forward to it! Praying for you all as I head to bed!

The First Saturday in November
Many things come with the first Saturday in November. Homestead Hollow is one. Brandon is working again with his mom and step-dad. He really enjoys the time with them, and the fact that there is a little money involved is definitely a plus, especially this time of the year.
I had several photo shoots today. I will be writing more about them all at www.monicaannephotography.com so keep your eyes checking that site. It seriously should be a favorite by now. I am also working on my alphabet project hard, I have all of the letters now, which is awesome! I cannot wait to see what those who recieve one for Christmas think. I know that Brandon loved his, and was super surprised! Seriously thinking about sending one to my favorite Auburn man...just because I have all of he letters. I even got a VERY cool staircase Z today. Love finding letters in the most unexpected places.
The boys spent the day with Nana so that I could work. They had a great time. They even took her to the grocery store, which was a treat for all of them.
So the LSU v. Alabama game was tonight and was pretty much all anyone in the South was talking about. After the general attitude of all the Alabama fans, even those I love at the National chapionship game I decided that I just cannot hope that they win. The green and yellow A's made me sick...so I have to admit that was a great game. I was so glad that LSU pulled off the win. The sad thing is all Alabama fans seem to have is excuses. Seriously except the L and get on with it. I love my Auburn Tigers and I love SEC football but there are many out there who are ruining it for me.
Sorry needed to do a little venting! So editing and homework are dominating my time. I have been slacking on my personal pictures for taking photographs for others. I will not stop blogging. Everyday is a blessing and most of all that is what this blog has proven to me. Hopefully next year I will make it with the blogging and the pictures everyday! I made it almost all year this go round!
Headed to bed. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers! Looking forward to the many blessings that I know Sunday will bring. An extra hour sleep, the last soccer game, a photo shoot, Homestead Hollow with my boys, and who knows what else! It is going to be a great day!

Alive!
Seriously thankful to be alive today. I cannot remember when I was that sick. I do not like the stomach bug at all. I feel so helpless.
I was not able to do anything, which means even more photo sessions that have to be rescheduled. YAY, not really. I was on a seriously tight schedule and now it is even tighter. It will all work out though!
Danny stayed home with me today and pretty much laid around all day like I did. He seemed better though before bedtime, definitely good news. John Michael was able to go to school, which was definitely a good thing. He did not need to miss anymore, neither did Danny, but you have to do what you have to do.
By the time Brandon and John Michael got home I felt half human again. I decided to take a shower and see if that would help. It definitely did! Which is a good thing since this weekend is jammed with photo sessions! Watch out Birmingham, I need SMILES!

What happened today!
So I was in bed most of the day. This bug has gone through the house. Hoping and praying that we did not share with anyone! Fortunately no fevers, unfortunately an already packed month is now going to have to make room for cancellations! YAY!
Mom picked up the boys from school today and before Danny got home he was sick again. Grrrr!

I love what I Do!
So I have always been told that to be truly happy and successful in your career you have to do what you love. This is so true!
Today I had a newborn session with the stunning Zarah Laia. To find out more about this session follow my blog at www.monicaannephotography.com I will say that it was a great session. I have enjoyed getting to know her mom and dad and I hope that we are able to have a relationship that was built through photography. Zarah definitely has a piece of my heart!
Teresa came and stayed with the boys, and I appreciate it so much! Mom was supposed to be going out of town, but she did not. It looks like that will be next week. We shall see. The boys seem to be great and will definitely be back in school tomorrow. YAY!

Welcoming November with ....
The Stomach bug. Yep, everyone in the house ended up with the stomach bug. I have managed to steer clear, and praying that it stays that way. I have photo shoots everyday this month and do not need to have anything slowing me down.
I have been to Publix twice getting Sprite, medicine, soup, and crackers. Fortunately since early this morning everyone seems to be on the mend. Which means back to work and school tomorrow as normal. Praying that this is the track that we stay on.
Today I had a photo shoot with a gorgeous 13 year old. We went to the Aldridge Gardens in Hoover. More on this session on my blog at http://www.monicaannephotography.com/ It was a great session and I am excited about editing them. Starting on them shortly.
Aldridge Gardens is beautiful in the fall. They had a ginko tree that was stunning. Brandon planted one of these for us last year, while it is still pretty much a baby, I hope that it grows to look like this one. I LOVE IT! The size, color, shape, and everything.
I went by the school while I was out and got Danny's work. He had it done in just a little bit. I love the fact that he does not like to be behind. He is so much like me. I prefer to be caught up and ahead when at all possible.
Well, everyone seems to be okay. About to start shower and bath time. Curious to if I can but Lysol in with them. Just joking.
I hope that everyone has a great night. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Also please say a prayer that all is healthy and back to normal tomorrow for the Thach household.
