So this morning started pretty early. We had to be at the new house at 8:30 for the pre-walk through. I am not really sure what the builder is waiting on to do a punch list, since we are supposed to be closing in a little more than a week. The pre-walk went pretty good, they made another list that was just like the list that I sent them, because again they have yet to take care of any of the issues we have been addressing, some of them since day one. Grrrr! All I know is when this process is finished and we have a home I will be so glad. Hopefully that will be a week from next Monday. I guess what happens this week will give us the amswers.
After the walk through we headed to the house and got to work. I got the bookshelf in the office almost completely done, still a little bit on the top, and I got most of the crafts packed up. I also boxed 2 boxes for eBay, I am on hold until after the move. I still have a few things to list now, but that aside I am done. We got the boys pool table taken down and ready for the move.
After dinner we headed to swim with some amazing friends. Kimy you gave us all a much needed and much deserved break from working around the house. The boys had a great time and so did Brandon and I. John Michael got to work on swimming some and even jumped off the diving board twice with no floaties. Danny had a nice water gun fight, which he loves. It was really great to hang out and see some friends and just not stress for a few minutes. Thank you so much again!
Now we are home so may the stressing commence!

One Week Only
I cannot believe that there is only one week until we will head off to school. I am pretty sad, which I know is crazy, but it is also a fact. I love summer and I love the extra time with the boys.
We started today off at about 6:45, not as early as we planned but Brandon and I both slept late. Of course John Michael had me up till 1:00 this morning and the I could not get my brain to turn off so it was after 3 before I finally fell asleep. Oh well, much is life as mommy! I love it though.
The dog was fed by 9:00 this morning, which is definitely better than it has been. It has been about 5:00 before Danny has done it for over a week now and we need him on a better schedule too.
Shark week is having an effect on the boys. They seem to be preying on one another. I have laughed though. They have a toy Hammer Head shark that came with a Christmas gift, I think John Michael's. Anyway, it is usually in the bathtub or outside, but today they decided to let him come in the living room and John Michael fed him marshmallows. He did not want him to eat any of us. Seriously! I needed a good laugh this morning though.
We had a short photo shoot with my cousin. She is expecting a baby girl in a few weeks and with her baby shower Sunday we needed some quick pictures. She looked beautiful. Watch my MonicaAnne Photography blog for more on that shoot. We might be doing another one next week so that the hubbie can be included. The boys had a blast at the park, well actually the old Middle School.
The boys and I headed over to Deborah's to swim with Kimy and Morgan. We had a great time. Usually I sit outside of the pool for a while before going in but it was just too dang hot. Thank you ladies for having us over! As always we had a great time. Love you guys! John Michael worked on swimming with no floaties again and is seriously getting good. I am super proud of him.
Well, I am actually finishing this Thursday morning, because I passed out with the boys last night. I will do better tonight. I had actually started this one, but stopped so I could lay down with them and get them to bed, well, that was that!

Seven is Almost a Thing of the Past...
Well, today was a bittersweet type of day. It is my baby's last day to be seven. He is so excited and I have to admit that I am excited, but also sad. I swear it goes by so fast and each year it seems to increase in speed and passes by me before I realize it. That is why this year I have been determined to smell the roses, count the blessings, and enjoy life. Not to say that it is perfect but my attitude towards it is definitely positive, which makes such a huge difference. Staying away from so many negatives aspects that life throws at us has opened up so many doors and windows to positive, exciting, experiences.
There was nothing amazing about most of the day. The highlight was definitely when Kimy texted to see if I wanted to bring the boys swimming. What a great way to end being seven, a trip to the pool. Thank you Deborah, Tony, Kimy, and
Miss Morgan Makenzie for a great day! We love you all. BTW, Deborah if you are reading this, mom is supposed to call you about coming with us to Outback tomorrow night! I hope that you will! Danny was really excited that you wanted to come, and mom seemed glad that someone was willing to ride with her. Love you!
The boys had a blast at the pool. Danny had fun working on his dives off of an actual diving board, and also diving for torpedoes. It made his day! John Michael was just proud that he was not scared of the diving board anymore. John Michael also let me work with him for a little while without his floaties. I am definitely a proud momma. Many blessings, and more proof that my boys are growing up.
Bedtime was actually much easier than I thought that it would be. Usually it is harder for Danny, like any kid, to go to sleep when they are excited. He must have been tired, because he laid down next to me on the couch and was out.
Well, I am off myself. Tomorrow is my baby's special day and while I do not know what all we are doing, I do know that he wants to be out all day! It should be a lot of fun, and I am just excited to spend the day with my three men. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Please say a special prayer for my little man that he has a great day tomorrow!

Summer Swimming
Today was a great day! Brandon was off, after working till almost midnight I know that he was glad. This morning was pretty laid back. Danny showed Brandon the Wii cabinet that he had worked so hard on, and the boys played the Wii. They crack me up with how much fun they can have on it. Plus as they have gotten older the fighting with it is not quite as bad.
We were headed over to Deborah's to swim with Kimy and Morgan this afternoon. They boys were so excited to be swimming in a pool. So far this summer it has been the ocean and the lake. I was excited too just to be able to go spend some time with friends and let the boys play. They love the pool, so I knew that they would wear themselves out. We headed to their house and Brandon had some things to do for the business so he headed out too.
John Michael love Morgan, and Danny loves being the oldest. He is so good with Morgan and making sure that she is okay. Danny was diving for buried treasure and Morgan had carried her little pool over so he put some in for her so that she could play too. She loves to throw the torpedoes and the treasure to the bottom for Danny to go get.
I worked with John Michael some on swimming without floaties, but for most of the time he wanted his shark on. That is fine too, but I do want him to know that he can do it. He was doing really good and I am so proud of him. He will get it. Everyone told him what a bog boy he was. We laughed because when Brandon showed up he would not do it again. Oh well, maybe next time.
Thanks again to Deborah and Kimy for letting us come swim. Also for some adult time, it was so nice just to sit and relax and talk! Love you!
I have been working on editing pictures a lot. I have so much coming up and so much still to get done. It will all work out though. One at a time is all I can do. At least and keep some sort of focus happening. I am loving doing what I love though. It is truly the best career.
Well, I am off to bed it is going to be a busy one tomorrow. I hope that you all have an amazing weekend! Know that I will be praying for all of you to be abundantly blessed!
