Goodbye September

I cannot believe that September has come and gone.  2012 seems to be moving faster and faster.  I am glad to know that even though I feel like the yeaar is going to eat me alive from time to time, it does look like I will make it  out alive.
Today was a seriously rainy and just gross day.  Danny was supposed to have a game so we drove to Trussville to sit and wait and have the umpires finally call it.
We headed back home and got back to work.  I started to list on eBay and am praying that a little extra money will come and that it will go a long way!

Space Jam

Today was another very dreary day.  I would love a day full of sunshine.  I seriously need some Vitamin D.  One or two dreary days is one thing, and I am usually miserable by then, but over a week and I am seriously not a happy woman, or a very awake one.
I did manage to get a few things on eBay and on Ashley's list, which is definitely a plus.  I also got a few pictures taken so that I can hopefully get some more things listed tomorrow.  I am having to take it one box at a time.  The sooner I get rid of this stuff the sooner I can get on with it.  I am tired of seeing boxes and I know that Brandon is too, I am working on it though.  Still need that cabinet and/or book shelf so if you have one you do not need let me know.
The boys' had a great day at school today.  John Michael came home with 5 books and wanted to read them all.  If only there was that kind of time when we got home.
At after school care we watched Space Jam.  I only got to see bits and pieces, but I forgot just how cute and good that movie really is.  I think I need to try to find it for BluRay or DVD.  A good one to have in the collection.  At least I think so.
I got to see Amy and Clyde's baby girl today and let me just tell you all she is absolutely adorable.  She is so sweet and Amy looks amazing!  So happy for the whole family!
Well I am headed to bed, hoping that tomorrow goes smoothly, there is so much to do and the time to get it done is very limited.

Pre-Walk and Good Times

So this morning started pretty early.  We had to be at the new house at 8:30 for the pre-walk through.  I am not really sure what the builder is waiting on to do a punch list, since we are supposed to be closing in a little more than a week. The pre-walk went pretty good, they made another list that was just like the list that I sent them, because again they have yet to take care of any of the issues we have been addressing, some of them since day one.  Grrrr!  All I know is when this process is finished and we have a home I will be so glad.  Hopefully that will be a week from next Monday.  I guess what happens this week will give us the amswers.

After the walk through we headed to the house and got to work. I got the bookshelf in the office almost completely done, still a little bit on the top, and I got most of the crafts packed up.  I also boxed 2 boxes for eBay, I am on hold until after the move.  I still have a few things to list now, but that aside I am done.  We got the boys pool table taken down and ready for the move.

After dinner we headed to swim with some amazing friends.  Kimy you gave us all a much needed and much deserved break from working around the house.  The boys had a great time and so did Brandon and I.  John Michael got to work on swimming some and even jumped off the diving board twice with no floaties.  Danny had a nice water gun fight, which he loves.  It was really great to hang out and see some friends and just not stress for a few minutes.  Thank you so much again!

Now we are home so may the stressing commence!

Welcoming July

So today is July 1st which is exciting for so many reasons.
The first is that if everything goes as planned we close in 15 days!  Praying for smooth sailing from here on out.  So ready to be at our new home.  I am so ready to enjoy the house, the new beginnings that I feel are coming with it.  I am so ready to enjoy the pool with my family, and I am ready to meet all of the great neighbors.  So far I am loving the ones that we have!  I am just ready to be HOME!  We actually did not go to the house today, we had so much to do and we knew that they would probably not have done anything so we are waiting till tomorrow.  This took some serious self control.
Second July is when my sweet baby, Danny, turns 9.  I cannot believe that I have a nine year old boy.  He is such an amazing kiddo and he is so excitd about his birthday.  If all goes as planned we will be moved in and his party will be at the pool.
Another reason is it is the middle of the summer, which is my favorite time of the year.  I love the heat, the family, the friends, just everything!
We headed to Beth's today to get some boxes from her and Brandon!  Thank you guys so much!  They are perfect and already holding a lot of our office stuff.  In fact the desk is emptied and the craft shelf is emptied, which is a HUGE step towards moving out.  Thank you so much.  We love you guys!
We did take the boys to Whataburger today.  The men in my house love it, I could leave it but it was a treat for them and they have all been working hard.
Well, I am off too bed.  I have listed on eBay, written two papers, packed up a HUGE bag for Hannah Home, packed up some things to mail out, paid a bill or two, caught up on my blog, and done a load of laundry, all in the past hour.  Now I am ready for bed, since I have to be up in a few to get started again!
I hope that you all have an amazing week!

Really???

So this morning Brandon and I took the boys' to moms and they went to go visit with Grandma.  They were excited and we were able to get some running around done.
We headed to 2 carpet stores to find out about the padding they used under the carpet, as we thought it was wrong, it was 4lb, when we paid for 8lb. The we chased down the builder and the realtor and got to have our words.  This is so dang irritating.  It is looking like the morning of the 16th though for moving.  I hope, I am so so so ready!
We got the boys and ran a few errands and then headed home to work, but we ended up being pretty lazy.  I guess we will have to make up for that in the morning.  I hope that we can, I have no room for lazy.
Please say a prayer for the Perry family.  Mrs. Mrya who was like another mom for me growing up has had a stroke.  I love her and her family so much and just ask for a quick and full recovery.
Also please pray for my newest cousin who is in NICU with fluid on his lungs.
Here's to tomorrow being more productive for the Thach family, today was just a day.  I did manage to get a few things on eBay so at least I am still making progress there.  I am trying anyway!

Front Yard

Good evening everyone.  I have to say I am seriously pooped.  I got a lot done around the house, even though everything is still seriously piling up and the list has yet to start shrinking there was a lot of progress made tonight and in fact I am still making it.
I was able to get most of the Christmas gifts that I have already bought packed up, I will be able to finish them up tomorrow.  I have also been able to make a list of what is for who, which will be a huge help come December.  The has almost cleaned out the downstairs bathroom.  Again, that should be completely finished tomorrow.  Baby steps make for one happy momma!
I have a lot more on eBay.  I was also able to get most things that have sold boxed up and ready to ship out.  I love selling on eBay but it is a lot of work and I always forget that especially when I have taken a break.  I am glad to be back at it.  I figure I will have even more once we move, just because I am sure we will not need or want everything that we take with us, but that will be determined upon arrival.
I was also able to get most of the hall closet packed up.  I had a lot of it done, but still a lot left to do.  Also the dining room is almost 100% done.  Like I said progress makes me happy.  I am hoping to be able to report even more done tomorrow.
When Brandon got off we headed to the new house.  We pulled up and it looked like a house.  The front yard had been sodded and the plants and the tree were in.  We also have a mailbox.  Never have I been so happy to see a mailbox.  I cannot wait to forward my mail to our new house!  There is still a lot of yard work to be done, but I know that it will happen soon.  There is also still a lot of paint to be done, the doors and shutters mainly, at least on the outside.  We headed into the house and the knobs and door stops were going it, the closet doors, and the carpet.  It seriously looks like a house and one that is soon to have some very happy homeowners.

I have so many things that I am looking forward to we just have to get through the move.  I wish that the time would hurry up and get here.

Backsplash

Today was not as productive as I would have liked, but it was not a total waste either.  I was able to get a few things on  a couple more boxes completed in the den.  There is so much to still get done and I am starting to feel like I make progress in one area and there is a lack of progress in two more.  I am determined to make this move as easy as possible, but that seems easier said than done some days.  Today was definitely one of those days that I feel overwhelmed.  I am hoping that tomorrow will be better.
The boys and I went to the new house where there was progress to be seen.  The backsplash is in and it looks so good!  It is slate and glass.  I love it!  I also sent the builder a list of things that we have foun wrong with the house in hopes that they can get taken care of ASAP so that our move in date is not put off.  Sometimes I feel like they just do not care, and in reality they definiely should start to care as we are so ready to call it our home.

Danny's had an All-Star cook out at the ballpark and it was so much fun.  They got medals and game balls, and played with water guns, played football, played kickball and of course a little baseball.  They had a blast and so did we.  I am so sad that it is over, but I am so ready for fall ball.  To Coach Rick and all of the coaches it has been so much fun and I truly thank you for everything and the time that you all took to work with Danny and all of the 8 year old all stars.  To all of the boys, you guys are amazing!

Working Together

So today we worked around the house.  There is so much that has to be done and even though we probably should have gotten up to go to church, and we probably should have gone to the grocery store the simple thing is it was just better for us to stay home.  We have most of the living room packed up.  In fact, other than Wii stuff we are done, since everything else is furniture.
We worked in our room and got all of the Chistmas stuff that I had bought for next year organized and put up and packed up.  While it may not seem like a lot it is a great thing to know that we are getting closer and closer to done.
I was able to get a good bit on eBay, and as long as it keeps selling that will be awesome!  I am trying to get what I can done.  Everything just feels like it is landing on my shoulders right now.

And then there were Lights

So let me start by saying there will be venting involved in this so know that you have been warned.
Today started off great.  My stiff on eBay is selling and I was able to get more things listed and pictures of even more.  I am on a roll and I am determined to keep it up.  The money will be a HUGE help, I just hope that the bids continue to rise and that I can continue to list things that people are interested in.
I was able to finish up the bookshelf in the den, and now if I can get the boxes I need up here and the others stacked better so I can do some rearranging that would be awesome.  and then I will be able to be 100% done.  I am hopine that we will be able to make some time to get it done next week.
Tonight was Brian and Christen's rehearsal and dinner.   We did not go because Brandon had to work.  Danny also had baseball practice.  It is all good though, we will see them tomorrow night.  Congratulations to you both and Happy Wedding Eve.  Christen we cannot wait to have you officially in the family, we have already considered you a part of it.  So happy for you both and love you both very much!
We headed to the new house and you got it....Lights were going up and electricity was being hooked up and the HVAC unit was going in.  Lots of things happening which seriously make me VERY happy!  I love seeing progress.
After the house the boys and I headed to baseball practice.  I love being at the ballpark and watching the boys grow.  They are all doing so well and I hope that they continue to improve and succeed this weekend as we head into the area tournaments.  If anyone finds themself in Corner and wants to come cheer on the 8 year Old Clay Cougars we would love the support.
So now for the venting.  It seems that on more than one occassion in every day I am forced to face someone that thinks that they are owed something.  Or people who think that they deserve everything for nothing at all.  People who are deternined to do and say things to get their way no matter who they hurt or how manipulative they have become.  I do not owe anyone anything and I do not think that others owe me.  I am seriously over it.  Get a life and stay the heck out of mine.  Serioulsly you have no idea how over it I am.  I hope that you never are put through anything like what I am dealing with, but then again if you are maybe you will understand.

Sorry I am over it now, just needed to get it out.  Well, I am off to bed, I am exhausted.  I was hoping to get some work done tonight, but it is not likely.  Brandon has not been home long and it has just been a seriously long day.  Hoping tomorrow will be full of progress too!

Day 2 District Tournament

This morning we got up and headed to the new house.  We needed to sign a change order because of the fifty cent balance that was there.  It sort of cracked me up when it appeared, but regardless it had to come off.  While we were there we headed to the house to see the finihed tile.  For the most part it looked pretty good.  The shower in our bathroom though was horrible.  Seriously I think they tiled it blindfolded.  They will fix it though.  This week we are supposed to get hardwoods, countertops, and a driveway so stay tuned to see how it all goes.  Our fireplace is so pretty though!!!
We headed to the ballpark from the house.  We played Pinson and won.  It was 27-10.  GO CLAY!!!  This put us in fourth and gauranteed our spot next weekend.  Now we play tomorrow to see where we go from 4th.  The boys played amazing and I was so proud of them all.
We headed home and literally relaxed.  Well, I edited and did a little homework.  I also did laundry as the boys were wearing their white uniforms again since it is going to be hot.  I fell asleep editng at the computer so I fell behind on my blog.  Catching up right now though!

I did manage to get  few things on eBay and I am so excited about how well everything is selling.  Hoping that I can keep up listing and that they keep selling!

The Tournament Begins

So this morning we took the boys to their last day of VBS.  I cannot believe that the week is over.  They had a blast.  Today they got to dress up like superheroes.  All of our costumes are already packed but they made some things and we did still have John Michael's cape out.  I was able to get in before they were done and I gt a few pictures of them.  I am seriously considering starting the books for the teachers now for next year.  Maybe it will eliminate some of the problems that I had this year.
While the boys were at school Brandon and I headed to the Botanical Gardens.  I had a photo shoot and it was a great one.  Stay tuned to the blog at http://www.monicaannephotography.com/ for more on this shoot.  I am really hoping to get it caught up soon.  I am slightly behind.  About six months to be exact.  Maybe one day!
We had to go on a helmet hunt this afternoon to try to find three helmets as close to the team helmets as we could find but a little larger.  We had a few boy who the ones that we got would not fit.  Danny was one of those boys.  We finally found some and Rick got them.  YAY!  Thank you so much Rick.
We started the district tournament tonight.  We played the Pinson 1 team at Huffman.  This was a rough game.  We lost, which means one more and we are out.  I do not want All Stars to be over yet and I know that the boys do not either.  This means we have to seriously pull it together and show up tomorrow ready to go.  We have to come in at least 4th to go to regionals.  Praying that it happens.  I would love to see the boys really do great tomorrow.  A lot of rest and a little motivation will hopefully be the answer!  GO COUGARS!!!

Well, I have written a paper since we have been home and gotten a few more things on eBay.  I also had to get some laundry done so Danny would have sliding shorts for tomorrow.  Progress is happening all over the place!

Car Wash

Brandon was able to go into work a little later this morning mainly because he has to work late and OT is frowned upon.  Yet another reason I am looking for a job.  So if anyone knows of anything let me know.  It was nice we all had breakfast, he fried eggs and made toast.  Breakfast is his speciality!  I cleaned though.  Then he took the boys to Vacation Bible School on his way to work and I started to bust my rear end around the house.
All of the stuff I had piled up on the couch for eBay I got pictures of which means they are one step closer to eBay.  The box of books I had I got posted on eBay.  There are a lot more but one thing at a time.  I also got another box ready to come upstairs that has had pictures taken and I have a lot that needs pictures, but needless to say eBay and I are definitely working together right now.
I cleaned the den.  I did not worry about packing just about getting the stuff that I could donate bagged up before John Michael saw it all again.  I love my baby and I know that he loves his toys but we have so much and there is NO way that it can all come to the new house.  The funny thing is when they came home they did not even realize it so I think maybe I am in the clear.  I hope so anyway.  I know that I will find more, but this was definitely a start in the right direction.
After Vacation Bible School the boys helped me clean out the van.  I promised them that they could wash it by themselves if they helped me get everything out of it.  Considering most of the stuff was theirs I felt like I was being more than fair.  We have already packed most of the car washing stuff, but a water hose and a little Dawn go a LONG way with two boys!  They did a great job too and had so much fun.  I know I used to love washing the cars for my mom and dad so I thought that they would and they are getting older.  It was cute.

W came in and rested and then headed to baseball practice.
We went by the new house on the way to practice.  They were working and it was on the floors.  We had linoleum (sp?) in the laundry room and the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen.  They were still working on the grout upstairs, but it was happening.  I cannot tell you guys how much I love seeing progress.
It wa cut short because of the lightening but the rain seemed to stay away.  At least from the house, I am not sure if it ever rained at the park or not.  Our tournament starts this weekend and hopefully we will continue on after this.  I would love to see the boys go to state, it would be really awesom t go further, but state would be amazing!  By the way if you want to come out and cheer on the 8 year old Clay Cougars come to Huffman ballpark at 7:30 tomorrow night!

VBS Starts Today

So one of the boy' favorite weeks during summer is the week of Vacation Bible School.  They love seeing their school friends and meeting new friends.  This week is also perfect for me as I am trying to get our den cleaned and packed and it is VERY difficult with them.
While they were at VBS I had a little work to do.  I needed to get a quote out. Praying that works out.  I was able to get a bag and by bag I mean one of the leaf yard bags full of toys to go to charity!  I was able to get 2 bags, smaller ones, to the trash.  I also was able to get 2 boxes full of stuff for eBay.  Mostly books, but still progress.  To make it better the two boxes for eBay I was able to get pictures of everything too!  YAY!
The boys had a blast a VBS.  They made masks, but Danny will not show me his until Friday.  He is so funny.  John Michael on the other hand could not wait to show his off!
Well the rain meant we did not go to the new house.  I am a little sad, but I know we will go tomorrow.

Busy Bees

So this morning we all headed out for a family breakfast.  We enjoy our Friday breakfast at Legends.  It is nice to do something special as a family and it gets us ready for the many things that we have to do.  And there is always a nice sized to do list on Friday.
We headed out to the new house to see that there were bathroom cabinets with the vanity tops!  They are the ivory marble and are so so pretty!  I love them!  I knew that I would but there is something about seeing them in  the house that will be ours, hopefully sooner than later!
We headed to get some boxes.  The amzing people at Friends Beauty Supply in Trussville was giving them away and to say that we were thankful is an understatement.  We got as many as we could in the van.
We headed home and all got to work with packing and cleaning.  These are the things that are taking up many hours every day.  I am seriously trying to get rid of as much as I can.  For instance my kitchen is in coffee stuff, which I know my mom is not fond of so I will be selling it on eBay.  We have to be able to come to aggreements on decorating which means I have to be willing to bend to.  I am just not sure what to do with my wine glasses?  Any advice?  They will fit on the cabinets at the new house, so I can lose the curio, but then again if we could make a litlle money on them that would be awesome.
I went with mom to help address the bridal tea invitations for my cousins future bride Brennah.  The invitations are awesome!  I love them, very colorful and artsy.  Definitely unique!  We got them knocked out pretty fast, which was a definite plus.  There is so much going on this summer.  Most days I am overwhelmed. The best thing is it is all happy things, which is amazing!!!

Cabinets

So I have to say today was great!  Progress was happening everywhere.
The boys and I had to run a few errands, we needed some more packing tape.  This is not something that I recomend running out of when you are selling stuff on eBay and moving.  It makes things a little hectic.  We also went to Dairy Queen for a little summer treat.  We all need them from time to time.
I managed to get the ordering counter cleaned out, which means all of my baking stuff is packed away!  We also got a few of the desk drawers cleaned out.  Some things are packed up some things will be able to be seen on eBay soon.  I also got one of John Michael's dresser drawers cleaned out.  I am loving progress.
Brandon got home and we headed to the new house.  There was siding up, the brick was finally done, and a lot had been delivered.  It looked like all of the interior doors, the trim, and maybe even the stair tread.  What made my day though was walking in and there being kitchen cabinets!  The kitchen and the pantry look awesome!!!  They look so good and I am so so excited.  I am so ready to be able to call it home.
After we left the house we headed to the ballpark for practice.  I dropped the boys off and headed to Tami's house.  Her and Kevin had some boxes.  I cannot thank them enough for these and I cannot wait to get them put to good use tomorrow.

It has been a wonderful day and I am so ready for bed.  I cannot wait to see what happens at the house tomorrow!

Rainy Day Beginnings

So I love rainy days, but today I had so much going on that adding the rain to this morning was not great as it was much harder to get going.  Oh well, we needed it I guess so I will not complain.  I think more rain is headed in tonight.
I was able to get a good bit in the kitchen done, but there is still so much to get done.  Some days I think I will have it all done and then others I feel like it will do me in.  I was also able to get a good bit of pictures done for eBay.  I have so much stuff to get listed and only a month to do it in.  I know that I can, I just have to stay motivated.  Just praying that a lot of it sells and that it sells for decent prices.  I also have several things that we have to list on Craigslist.  Like the smoker, and the aquarium, and other things that just are not going to make the move.  The more that we can get rid of though the more we can get done for the new house so that we will be 100% ready!
For dinner I made general tso chicken, but it was not a huge hit.  I also made some plain and I was glad that I did. I will try again.  At least Brandon has lunch tomorrow that is not Raman noodles or canned soup.

The Days of Summer

So today was the first day of summer for me and the boys!  Brandon is also off today so we had a lot on the todo list, but it was all fun.
Brandon started by going to the new house to find something out about the window in the bedroom that does not work, the brick and why it is not done right, and the island.  The island they are moving about 5 inches, even though I wanted at least a foot preferrably 2.  The window they are waiting on the window guys and the brick they said that they would correct.  We shall see how it all goes.
The boys and I headed to Alabaster for a photoshoot.  It was a gorgeous family and a very fun life filled little boy!  I love my job!  The boys had a blast paying on the playground and watching the baby geese.  I was glad to start summer out with a fun activity.
We headed home and we all lounged before we started to run. I was able to get some more pictures edited for clients, and I also got some more things on eBay.
We headed to the house to check on progress.  The sheetrock is done and ready for mud and they were finishing up the front brick.  Still no brick on the back though.  Seriously guys let's get our shit together.  The pictures you see are the boys in their rooms!  Now we are just waiting on the guys to mud it, I would love for them  to be there tomorrow.  We shall see.  I am hoping that they can continue this push, this is so important to me.

Then we headed to Morris for the second All-Star game.  I was super excited to see Terri, Steven, and Alex.  Thank you guys so much for coming to cheer us on.  We did not win, but the calls were REALLY bad. Obviously these guys are from Morris, that is who we played tonight.  The single elimination tournament starts for us at 10:00 in the morning.  Praying that we do well.  I would love to see these boys win this invitational and I know that they can do it.  GO CLAY!!!

Bricks Arrived

So today was super busy to say the very least, but it was also very productive!
I had two shoots this morning, the one on Morris Avenue was very nice and easy going.  The one at the botanical gardens was very muddy.  Which meant that the afternoon shoot at the Botanical Gardens was not going to happen.  Two boys and the muddy conditions could have meant disaster.  Hopefully we will get it done soon.  Stay tuned to http://www.monicaannephotography.com/ for more on all of the photoshoots.  After I was done with the shoots I had to go to the post office, to pick up some new props, and then to get some things listed on eBay.
eBay and I are getting along pretty well.  I have about 50 things listed now and still have a stack to go.  I am praying that these things sell it would definitely be a blessing.
The boys had great days at school.  John Michael is student of the week, which is awesome.  I love to hear about the amazing things that they are doing each day.  I am truly blessed to have such amazing boys!
Dinner was spaghetti, and I went on and made some chili for the chilli lasagna that I am going to make on Thursday.  Hopefully being ahead will help me get everything done.
After dinner we headed to the new house.  The plumbers were there and they were finishing up.  They had installed the downstairs tub and the shower floor for our bathroom's shower, the tub was already in.  It looks great.  They HVAC guys had been there so there was a lot of silver showing in the wood.  The bricks and the cement and sand for the mortar had also arrived so they should start going on soon.  There is one window that will not operate, which is not good.  We will deal with that Friday when we do the walk through though.  Also there are no screens on the windows, which we requested.  We will bring that up too.  I am so ready to move in!

We are catching up on the DVR shows.  Tonight we watched a Glee, from about 5 weeks ago.  Also in the mail came my blu ray Season One of True Blood.  I have read several of the books, but never seen the shows, so I figure I will get them and if I love them I will keep them, if not I will sell them.  I am sure that I will though.  So much entertainment happening.  I have no idea when I will be able to watch them, but at least I have them.

Danny and Brandon also had the first peaches off their peach tree tonight!  They were super pleased with how good they were!  YAY!

Well tomorrow is just as slammed so I am off to bed so I can get on it as early as possible!

Windows and Doors

So today was a great day.  It started a little slow but for a dreary Monday morning I was pretty proud.  We were on time so all is well.
I managed to get all of the laundry caught up today which was a huge load off my plate!  Now if I can keep it up I will be extatic. This week is going to be hectic so I am determined.  We will see if everything decides to be on my side.
I also managed to get about 30 items on eBay while the boys were in school.  I have so many things to get listed and that list will just keep on growing so I have to get pretty structured on getting things done.   Hopefully most of it will sell, I have so many things that I have to get taken care of before we move and the extra cash would make it all possible.  Praying that it all works out.
The boys had great days at school which is always good news to my ears.
We came home and they were super excited to see that I had gotten a few boxes.  They are relatively small, but they were perfect for trophies.  We have them packed up and ready to go.  It is awesome to see the boxes labeled and ready for the new house!  Hopefully we will be able to get a few more throughout the week.
Brandon went by the house before he came to the ballpark and I am super excited to say that we had house wrap, windows and doors!  We are on our way folks!!!
John Michael had a baseball game so we headed out to get there.  They played great and won 21-3.  I was so proud of them all.  John Michael even got to play second for an inning and a half.  He was so excited!
Well, I hope that everyone has a great night!  Sweet dreams and know that you are in my prayers!

Downstairs

So today was one hell of a day.

I managed to get some things organized that  needed to.  I also got some things posted on eBay so hopefully we will start to make some extra money.  We shall see.  I figure every little bit helps.  There are some things we will need for the new house not to mention the fact that I am hoping to get some things paid off ASAP.  Definitely hoping that the "one persons trash is another persons treasure" saying is all too true!

So I have to get this out and then I am done talking about it.  John Michael had practice today and so I talked to his coach about his behavior last night (see yesterday's blog).  Well, it was like talking to a child.  He was degrading and even questioned my parenting.  Anyway, I do not know if it did any good.  I know his wife and her cohorts made sure to talk about it and stare.  Guess what dude is not perfect and if you want to ask me about it ask me.  The thing is for people who think they are so untouchable, they need to wake up and realize that other than their very small group, most people cannot stand to be at the park with them!  Seriously I am so over this team and the way that some of the parents and the coaches act.  I will get through this though.  Three more weeks...I can do anything for three weeks!  Well almost anything!  As long as he does not leave John Michael out any more things will be fine.

Brandon went by the new house before coming to practice.  We have walls downstairs.  At least the lumber!  It is so exciting.  I cannot believe how much has happened in a week and I cannot wait to see how it continues to progress!  So so excited!
