So his morning Brandon and Danny headed to Pell City. Brandon had a Mass to video for a priest at Our Lady of the Lake. I am so thankful for him having a few jobs coming in, they are definitely an answer to some prayers.
John Michael and I got up and headed to Aldridge Gardens where I had a few photo shoots. I love working out there and today there were no snakes. There was proof that they were there, like snake skins, but I did not see any, which was a nice break from the norm. We did see a lot of baby turtles, they were so cute! It was also Art in the Gardnes. and I hatesd that I could not really look around but it is not like I could have gotten anything so what is the point.
John Michael and I came home to get some work done. Since I am seriously behind we got the laundry caught up which was a nice plus all by itself. Being behind is not something that I enjoy even a little bit.
Brandon and Danny headed to the lake to see his mom and Dale, and Danny stayed with them for a little while to swim. They stopped at Bojangles on his way home, which really made his day. He got to swim for a few minutes and that is something that he has missed. Hopefully we will make it up there sooner than later.
Well everyone was home and tucked in long before the rain, it thundered and lightening here horribly but no rain. That did not come until we were all tucked in.

Too Close
So today was the boys' last Friday of school. WOW is all I know to say! I cannot believe that in a weeks' time I will have a 1st grader and a 4th grader. I seriously miss them being babies some days!
Brandon and I headed to the new house to meet the builder, the realtor, and the inspector. It is frame walk time. We pointed out some issues that we had, and the inspector found his own. Hopefully the process of getting them back on track will be a smooth one. I am so ready to be in the new house. I need it for my own sanity. Just a peace of mind that come with being at your own home. I miss that security a lot.
I had a photo shoot this afternoon with an amazing one year old. This session was so much fun and I cannot wait to share it with everyone. We will be waiting till after her party though. Happy Birthday Ella Brooke! Of course the snakes did appear for us.
While I was at the photo shoot Brandon headed to the school to celebrate Spirit Day with the boys. They were glad to see him and from what I gathered they all had a blast.
John Michael had a game at 7:30 tonight. It was definitely a game too. We went all seven innings, which is a rarity in itself. We went back and forth with ties. We ended up winning 26-25. Seriously it was a great game, and I was super proud of all of the boys.

The Snakes Return
Today I had several shoots at Aldridge Gardens. I love shooting here but all of the snakes are starting to put me on edge. Today I got to see a lot of them, they were under rocks, on the grass, and swimming around. It was not at all how I wanted to spend the day. Seriously slightly freaked out. Who knew that such a beautiful place could have so many seriously nasty creatures. I was definitely glad when the sessions were done and I headed out.
Danny is still testing and is doing great! I am so proud of him. He has been working hard to get in bed early and get up early enough to eat and relax a little.
Both boys had practice today, which is rough because it is me and the two of them and I hate to leave either of them alone. I left Danny with his team, since he is a little older. He still managed to get a little lost. He knew that I was at the park, but could not find me. Thank you so much Jill for helping him. I felt so so bad. I wish that there was a way for me to be in two places at one. More and more I am thinking it is almost time for a cell phone for my baby. We will see what happens.

Wild About Scouting
So Wednesday arrived with a vengeance. I have so many photographs to edit, as well as so much work for school, and in the house well I am feeling slightly overwhelmed. Tonight was scout night so I had to be prepared.
The boys had an amazing day at school. John Michael was back on track with green smiley faces, and that always makes me happy. Danny said that he was busy all day but that it was a great day. Hearing how much my boys like school and are enjoying learning truly makes me really happy. I am so proud of both of them.
We got home and it was hurry up and get homework done. As soon as they were done we were back out the door. Headed to get gas (sort of need that to go anywhere) and then to St. Francis for Scout Night.
We were there about 5:30 and had everything set up and ready to go when the scouts arrived at 6:00. I am super pumped about our 8 new boys. Welcome to Pack 357! This is going to be a great year and I planned to start it off right. With Brandon Cub Master and Bear Den Leader and myself as a Committee Member and Treasurer to say I am involved in the planning is an understatement. We have a lot of new ideas for this coming year.
Tonight we kicked off with Ed's Pet World coming and bringing some really amazing friends! We had snakes, lizards, an alligator, tarantula, scorpion, hissing cock roach, and a bird. It was so much fun. I have not held a snake since I was little and that took some serious courage, but tonight I did it again. Better than that is that Brandon, who has a serious snake phobia held one. It was great and I was super proud that he did it for the boys! All I have to say is that sucker was heavy and the guys from Ed's Pet World were holding the other ends of him...needless to say he was a big sucker! I truly appreciate them coming out, it was great and the boys had a wonderful time. I think that the parents did too and so did any other children who came to visit. It was great and while snakes will not be at all of the pack meetings, I hope to have the excitement level just as fun!
