So his morning Brandon and Danny headed to Pell City. Brandon had a Mass to video for a priest at Our Lady of the Lake. I am so thankful for him having a few jobs coming in, they are definitely an answer to some prayers.
John Michael and I got up and headed to Aldridge Gardens where I had a few photo shoots. I love working out there and today there were no snakes. There was proof that they were there, like snake skins, but I did not see any, which was a nice break from the norm. We did see a lot of baby turtles, they were so cute! It was also Art in the Gardnes. and I hatesd that I could not really look around but it is not like I could have gotten anything so what is the point.
John Michael and I came home to get some work done. Since I am seriously behind we got the laundry caught up which was a nice plus all by itself. Being behind is not something that I enjoy even a little bit.
Brandon and Danny headed to the lake to see his mom and Dale, and Danny stayed with them for a little while to swim. They stopped at Bojangles on his way home, which really made his day. He got to swim for a few minutes and that is something that he has missed. Hopefully we will make it up there sooner than later.
Well everyone was home and tucked in long before the rain, it thundered and lightening here horribly but no rain. That did not come until we were all tucked in.

Progress Reports and Baseball
House Work Progress Report...Laundry is caught up. Of course I now have everything from today and since there was baseball to be played I feel like I am right back where I was. Started on Danny's room.
Photography Progress Report...Still working on Q and U wedding. I will get them all done sooner than later I hope. Keep an eye out they are so cute! Nothing like a wedding done with all 4K students!
So Danny also came home with his progress report, which means we are halfway through with the 4th quarter of school. Seriously I cannot believe it. He has all A's! Hopefully it will stay that way. He works hard and is really learning a lot. Holding on for the last few weeks of him being a second grader.
John Michael was so excited because 3 of their chicks at school hatched! Now to get ready for all of the
Easter celebrations next week. Craft day and party day! Fun stuff and definitely good times!
Tonight we had a baseball game. John Michael played, we played at home against Pinson. I have to stay on the side of the dugout to help the dugout coach, and so that I can keep the book and take pictures. The most important thing is it keeps me away from one of the mom's who seriously has crawled my last nerve. As an adult I typically let things roll off my back, but she talks bad about my child, and that is a game I will not play! She does not even know my child! I am much better off being away from her! It was a great game. We ended up losing 5-4, but it was still a lot of fun. John Michael was so upset that he did not get to bat one last time that we ended up at the batting cages for a little bit.

Really Tired...
So today I was definitely under the weather. I even took some extra vitamins but nothing seems to help. I am sure it is a combination of my allergies not liking the weather changing and my asthma never cares for storms that come through. I just fight through it.
I did not manage to get anything done that I wanted to except getting Danny's first grade scrapbook put together. While I have to still cut a few things with the Cricut and print a few pictures just like with John Michael's 3K it is primarily done. The next ones I will be working on are 2010 and 2009, then it will be time to start on 2nd grade and 4K as well as starting to work backwards with the years. I hate the feeling of being behind but I will get there. I am more or less stalling on the earlier books because I know that they will be the hardest.
The boys scrapbooked a little too and I took a picture of their pages for you to enjoy. I thought that they were too cute!
Brandon was able to get the play that he has been working on done, I still have the pictures to edit, but those will be the focus for this week. I am supposed to help with a wedding on Friday so I plan to get those done before that.
I also have a lot around the house to do, but that I will do one day at a time starting tomorrow. I have a goal date and that is the end of April, but baseball is about to get going in high gear and classes are getting more challenging.
I am considering a break, we shall see though. I know that I could use it. It would enable me more time to be able to concentrate on the business and without the added pressure of deadlines in class. Not to mention the baseball, cub scouts, and school for the boys schedules that are currently being juggled. I am not 100% yet on what I will do or when but a break is one option I am considering seriously at least for the time being. Any advice would be great.
Well, I am off to bed. The boys just went to sleep. It is definitely a late night. Tomorrow we have baseball from 6-8 so it will not be easy getting in bed by 9, but I plan to try. Before I go to bed tonight I will be saying a prayer for all of my family and friends. I hope that you all had a memorable weekend and were safe through the storms.

February ends with Storms...
This morning I knew that there was a chance of storms, and I will be the first to admit that I used to love a good tornado day. Dad and I would sit up watch the weather go outside and see if we could see, feel, or hear any changes. I had plans to be a storm chaser. Then something happened. A pregnancy test was positive. The May that I was expecting Danny there were 12 days straight of severe weather. That was the most nerve wrecking time of my life. I knew then that storm chasing would probably not happen. Maybe when the boys are older I can look back into that career. ;) Today ended up being really nice until about 3, when a horrible storm rolled up and flooded the back yard. There was about 2 inches of standing water, the creek
was flowing, but fortunately not overflowing...been there done that. The water had started to come in the garage, but about the time that started the rain stopped so it was not bad, which is good since the pipe (or whatever) it is still seems to be flooding the bottom of the stairs inside. We have someone coming to look at it tomorrow, who knows what will be found. Brandon seems to think it is either a pipe in the wall or the hot water heater. I will update tomorrow and hopefully it will be good news! Stay tuned.
So I love this time of year. The flowers start to bloom, even the weeds that flower look so pretty. I love the purple that is found around clover. I do not know why, but I do. I remember pulling these so I could give friends and family flowers and now my boys do the same.
Well, the boys are asleep and yes it is only 8! YAY!! I am so heading to bed before 9! I am super excited. Before I go to bed I will remember you all in my thoughts and prayers. I am also asking for you all to remember RJ in your prayers. This is a prayer request from a friend. RJ is a baby who was born prematurely. His parents were told today that he will undergo heart surgery tomorrow morning. Please pray for him, his family, his doctors, and nurses!
